ANALYSIS: While the result of suspension is unknown, the Celtics certainly don't want any more complications to start the season with Coach Ime Udoka, Jaylen Brown, and Al Horford all testing postive for COVID-19.

While you never want a player to break a team rule or to have to suspend one, it is good that this is being resolved in preseason. Adrian Wojnarowski reports that Smart missed the team flight to Orlando, which may relate to the suspension.`
