Celtics want to add third star to join Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum
There’s been a lot of talk in recent days about the Celtics and whether it is “working,” leading to the idea that Jaylen Brown could be moved. Instead, two sources indicated that in recent talks the Celtics are focused on trying to add a third star to play with Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum.

ANALYSIS: Brown and Tatum are one of the top young duos in the NBA, but with the Celtics sitting at 14-14, they might need more to join the upper tier of the Eastern Conference. It is unclear what type of player Boston might chase. Tatum is averaging 26.2 points per game this season and Brown is putting up 21.2 points per game.
