Minnesota Timberwolves All-NBA center Karl-Anthony Towns is expected to return to the lineup on Wednesday night according to The Athletic.
After recovering from COVID-19 and missing the past 13 games, Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns is expected to return tonight vs. the Clippers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Towns has missed 20 of the Wolves' 24 games this season between his bout with COVID-19 and a wrist injury suffered earlier in the season. In the four games Towns has played, he's averaged 22 points and 12.5 rebounds. The Wolves are 2-2 in the games he has been active this season.
Just under an hour after Charania tweeted his news, Towns inserted his thoughts on the matter.
This is news to me! Last time I checked, I was gonna go through shootaround and see how I feel. Underlying conditions and Covid don’t mix well. https://t.co/1fZHSTWnEt
