NBA announces one new positive COVID test since March 24th
The NBA released the following COVID-19 update Wednesday afternoon:
"Of the 481 players tested for COVID-19 since March 24, one new player has returned a confirmed positive test.
Anyone who has returned a confirmed positive test, or has been identified as having been in close contact to an infected person, is isolated or quarantined until they are cleared under the rules established by the NBA and the Players Association in accordance with CDC guidance."
At this point it seems the worst of the coronavirus is behind us, and with many teams/players opting to get the vaccine, it seems like the NBA has everything under control as we move into the most competitive time of the year. Expect health and safety protocols to stay in effect though as the season eventually winds down.
