NBA postpones Hawks-Suns game due to contact tracing
The National Basketball Association game scheduled for tonight between the Atlanta Hawks and Phoenix Suns at Phoenix Suns Arena has been postponed in accordance with the league’s Health and Safety Protocols.
Because of ongoing contact tracing within the Suns, the team does not have the league-required eight available players to proceed with tonight’s game against the Hawks.
ANALYSIS: This is the third Wednesday game to be postponed due to the coronavirus health and safety protocols. Jazz-Wizards and Magic-Celtics were both announced as postponed on Tuesday. The NBA and NBPA are hoping their stricter rules will help fend things off, but it's been a rough week-and-a-half.
