Lakers monitoring Trevor Ariza's availability

The Lakers are monitoring Oklahoma City’s Trevor Ariza should he become available.

ANALYSIS: Ariza has bounced around the league in recent years, spending portions of the last two seasons with the Phoenix Suns, Washington Wizards, Sacramento Kings and Portland Trail Blazers. This offseason alone he has been traded from the Blazers to the Houston Rockets, then to the Detroit Pistons, and lastly to the Thunder. 

Ariza still brings a reliable veteran presence and some value as a 3-and-D wing. With the Lakers in the championship hunt, Ariza would make for a steady rotation piece.
