Nikola Jokic ejected from Game 4 for excessive contact with Cam Payne
Denver Nuggets center and NBA MVP Nikola Jokic was ejected from the team's Game 4 against the Phoenix Suns due to a hard foul on Cam Payne late in the third quarter.
Jokic wound up going for a strip when Payne had the ball, and caught him on the bridge of the nose. Devin Booker took exception to the foul, and ended up in a heated confrontation on the floor with Jokic.
Officials reviewed the play afterwards, and they decided upon a Flagrant 2, resulting in the ejection.

It would be the last of Jokic we would see in 2020-21. He averaged 30.7 points, 11.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists in the postseason following a stellar regular season.
