Ronald Nored, Chris Quinn among early candidates for Wizards head coach job
On The HoopsHype Podcast, Michael Scotto gave some insight in the Washington Wizards' head coach search:
"I heard Ronald Nored, who some will remember from Butler and is currently a Hornets assistant, was in the mix for the Washington Wizards job and interviewed there as part of that first round of interviews. Another coach I heard was Chris Quinn of the Miami Heat, who was also in the mix for Washington with their first round of interviews, I was told."

ANALYSIS: Nored has also previously been a head coach for the G League's Long Island Nets and an assistant with the Maine Red Claws (now Maine Celtics). Quinn spent six seasons in the NBA as a player before joining Miami's staff in 2014. Scotto also added that Nored is a candidate to join the Indiana Pacers coaching staff under Rick Carlisle.
