ANALYSIS: Per Wojnarowski, Brown joins the Sixers after leaving the Houston Rockets, where he was CEO for 15 years, in April. Brown and 76ers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey were coworkers in Houston before Morey left to join the Sixers last season. During their 13-year tenure together, the two oversaw a Rockets team that went 640-400.
