Chicago Bulls forward Al-Farouq Aminu plans to exercise the $10.2M player option on his contract for next season, sources tell ESPN.

ANALYSIS: Aminu, who was acquired in the deal that sent Nikola Vucevic to Chicago, played in just six games for the Bulls after being traded. Aminu is unlikely to get a deal that will exceed $10.2M this offseason, so it makes sense that the forward has already committed to picking up that option just days after the regular-season finale.
