LeVert was acquired from Brooklyn as part of the four-team blockbuster trade that sent James Harden to the Nets. During his physical with Indiana a small, cancerous mass was found on his left kidney. He had surgery to remove the mass, and has been ramping up his physical activity since.
This year in 12 games for the Nets, LeVert averaged 18.5 points per game. His return is a good sign for not only his overall well-being, but the Pacers hopes as a contender in the Eastern Conference this year.
