John Collins has seen his name as one floated through many trade rumors over the course of this season. He was eligible for a contract extension prior to the season, but he and the Atlanta Hawks couldn't come to an agreement meaning he will reach restricted free agency this summer. 

With the deadline looming, Collins spoke on Tuesday night about what the future might hold, proclaiming that he would ideally spend his entire career in Atlanta with the Hawks. 

“I want to stay... I want to be true to Atlanta for my entire career, as corny or cheesy as it may sound to whoever."

Collins also touched on the outside reporting done regarding his contract situation, including what type of deal he's looking for from Atlanta.
