Ball, the middle child of the Ball family, made his NBA-affiliated debut this summer with the Charlotte Hornets' Summer League team.
Considering he had not appeared in a professional game since 2018 for the Junior Basketball Association, Ball was impressive during Summer-League action.
Ball averaged 9.6 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.6 steals in just 17.4 minutes per game for the Summer League team, though the Hornets elected not to give him a training camp deal.
While LaMelo and Lonzo have been able to become stars in the NBA, LiAngelo is still looking for an opportunity to show what he can do in the league.
