The NBA's issues with COVID-19 continue to worsen as we inch closer to Christmas. On Friday morning, the Orlando Magic announced three players are going in league health and safety protocols: Terrence Ross, Moe Wagner, R.J. Hampton.

ANALYSIS: Orlando will be without nine players for Friday's game against the Miami Heat after Ross, Wagner and Hampton entered COVID protocols.
Ross has averaged 11.1 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists this season for Orlando. Meanwhile, Wagner and Hampton have been relied upon more recently in the Magic's rotation, which is one of the youngest in the NBA.
