ANALYSIS: Harrell was charged with trafficking less than five pounds of marijuana, a Class D felony in Kentucky, after a traffic stop the morning of May 12th, 2022. His market in free agency to this point has been largely quiet in light of the legal troubles, however with the new charge reduction which even provides a route to clean record, his draw to NBA front offices should light up once more. Harrell won the 2019-20 NBA Sixth Man of the Year award, and has shown himself to be a nice addition to NBA benches league wide.
