Nyara Sabally is headed to the New York Liberty as the No. 5 pick in the WNBA draft.

The Oregon senior was selected first Monday night at the first in-person draft for the league since 2019. Sabally's one knock revole around if she can stay healthy for a full season, but the high ceiling is there because of her abilities both as a scorer and a passer in the low post.

The Liberty desperately needed an interior presence and they get just that with Sabally. Taking her is a vote of confidence that she'll get past her injury issues.
