The Lakers-Pacers trade involving Russell Westbrook, Myles Turner, Buddy Hield and other assets is currently dead, according to Bob Kravitz of The Athletic.
That's not to say the Lakers can't come back and add a second first-round pick to the current package of picks, but for now, things are at a standstill.

ANALYSIS: Don't be surprised if conversations are revived later this summer. The Lakers are short on options right now, and it appears the Russell Westbrook era has run its course. There's no need to double down on something that isn't working. Until further notice, Kyrie Irving's not an option. Both sides may also be waiting to see if and when the Donovan Mitchell situation is resolved. When it does, a Russell Westbrook trade might be next.
