The New Orleans Pelicans say that the bone in Zion Williamson's right foot is healing and he will gradually progress to full weight-bearing exercise and basketball activity, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Despite the fact that Williamson has been sidelined all season while recovering from this foot injury, New Orleans remains optimistic about him playing in 2022, as they still haven't ruled him out for the season. 

In 61 games last season,, Zion averaged 27.0 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.7 assists and 0.9 steals while shooting 61.1% from the field.
