Smart underwent an MRI today on that right foot and the imaging returned clean, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. There’s hope he’ll be ready for Game 1 and Celtics will see how it feels on Tuesday in Miami.

ANALYSIS: It appears Boston can't shake the injury bug in these playoffs. The upshot is, it sounds like Smart's foot injury isn't too bad so at worst, he'll be out for one game of these conference finals. Since Boston's defense has remained elite in spite of injuries taking both of them out at various points, all indications are they'll survive without one of them. The real question is if they can survive without both.
