In an interview with Czech Daily, recent New Orleans Pelicans addition Tomas Satoransky was adamant in his stance that Zion Williamson has no unhappiness with New Orleans, and that any rumors of this have been drummed up by the media.
“I have a feeling that some American media which cover the NBA want to break up teams and create fake stories so that something’s happening,” he said. “This one’s dissatisified. This one wants to leave. Most of the time, the truth is elsewhere or in the middle.
“It’s definitely not true that Zion in his third season is thinking about not having good players around him,” Satoransky added. “I’m convinced of it.”

ANALYSIS: While it's unclear if Satoransky is referring to a specific report, one rumor as recently as June claimed that Williamson's family was unhappy in New Orleans. The Pelicans made a number of moves this offseason to surround their young star with new talent, including acquiring Satoransky and Garrett Temple in a sign-and-trade that sent Lonzo Ball to the Chicago Bulls.
