With John Wall sidelined for at least two weeks with an abdominal strain, the Los Angeles Clippers are looking for help at point guard and one player of interest is Mike Conley writes Marc Stein in his latest Substack column.
The Jazz have slid back to the 10th spot in the Western Conference with a 22-24 record and Stein writes that the team "could become a much-needed seller at this deadline". He adds that the Clippers are also "exploring trade options to fortify their frontcourt beyond Ivica Zubac".
The 35-year-old Conley is averaging 10.2 points, 2.1 rebounds and 7.5 assists while shooting 38% from the field and 34.9% from three-point range. Conley is making $22.3M this season and has a partial guarantee of $14.3M for the 2023-24 season.
